Prior to working at Prism, Jon was formerly a Vice President at U.S. Equities Realty Inc., leading the development teams on three mixed-use projects. In downtown Chicago these projects included a proposal for a 50-story residential tower rising above an administrative and educational extension of the Fourth Presbyterian Church. In the south Loop area, he directed and administered the development proposals for two high-rise towers, the first being a corporate computer office facility and the second a graduate level dormitory serving several downtown universities.

Before joining U.S. Equities, Mr. Rodgers developed and built several large scale projects for Fifield Development Corporation. He was responsible for planning, financing, marketing and the construction of the City Place project - a 40-story office, hotel and retail tower. This luxury hotel in downtown Chicago was Hyatt Corporation's introduction into the executive suite market. In suburban Rosemont, Jon master-planned, developed and built the Columbia Centre complex - a self-contained 30-acre business community consisting of three office buildings and a 300 room Hotel Sofitel.

Mr. Rodgers began his real estate career with the L & H Company as a Development Manager directing the renovation of two regional shopping centers and one office / retail mixed-use development. He was responsible for the planning, budgeting and construction of these projects. He began his architectural career in designing residential and retail buildings in Arizona, California and Illinois; and worked as an architect for the United States Department of Defense, designing and building projects ranging from downtown office buildings to remote communication facilities.

Mr. Rodgers is actively involved on the Board of Directors for the Primo Center for Women and Children charity and The Chicago Gateway Green Committee. Jon is a licensed architect and member of the American Institute of Architects, and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Urban Planning and a Master of Urban Planning and Finance.
